I have seen "beLIEve" approximately 15 times (and have the ticket stubs to prove it) and NO, I do NOT live in Vegas, and NO MY SEATS WERE NOT COMPED (i.e. Holly)..... (and I am a working professional, NOT an insane "fan")
Let's see 15 tickets at approx. $170 apiece (my seats are always in first 4 rows) = $2,550 (PLUS airfare + hotel)
Meeting Criss Angel ONCE = PRICELESS

I attended the Oct. 30 show of 'beLIEve" (I swear my comments on this are coming!)
I was originally scheduled to fly back Oct. 27th, but changed my flight/hotel and have no idea why.....(add haunted house sounds here)
BUT my day was made (until Oct. 31st, that is) - I was PICKED to extend the "banner" (those of you who have attended, know whereof I speak) - and was given not a BEAR, not a TIGER ... but an ADORABLE LION (very appropos, as it is of the CAT family!) ....
This lion resembles Criss - it is ADORABLE, sexy, has soulful eyes, doesn't really smile much (unless he is hugged TIGHT), has a pretty "special/unique" nose (sorry Criss) and has wild, unruly hair.... HAHAHAHAHA
And looks particularly stunning in his MF bandana, which I have added to his neck.
Its fur is rubbed raw from all of the shed tears and its stuffing is almost non-existant from all of the HUGS.... THANK YOU Criss for the PUUURFECT Gift !!

I attended the Oct. 8th show (by accident ), ran over there after Carrot Top (a friend got me front row seats, hysterical show by the way, just not long enough IMHO) - and was 'picked' to go up to the stage with 'the banner' at "BeLIEve".....those of you who have seen the show know what I am talking about....
Keep in mind now, that I have had lunch/dinner, etc. with the likes of C. Eastwood, Prince, etc., and was able to keep a level-head, but Criss??? OMG - THUNK.............JUST SHOOT ME !!!!!!
Sitting next to me was a girl who came all the way from England - I was told we were to "co-present" the banner, but we would have to "share" the Devil - how is this possible when she lives in England and I do not??? My compassion and unselfishness kicked in (and for some of you who might think this, my stupidity) and I "allowed" the English girl to go up there by herself and "receive the Devil Bear". KICK ME....JUST KICK ME! (OK, after the shock wore off about a day later, and my TRUE SELF kicked in, I asked myself, "they have an $85 million budget and I have to SHARE a freakin' bear)??"
It was either compassion, unselfishness or SHOCK of actually "seeing" Criss (couldn't have been liquor, I only had the one drink) - who knows, I missed out on my chance........but whoever that British girl is (Karen) email me and let me now how the rest of your trip went........ and I hope you are enjoying your souvenir and the memories............Rule Britannia . First, I am not a celebrity, so my humble opinion will probably NOT matter to Criss as much, but I have worked in and around the entertainment/music business for over 10 yrs., and am a former dancer/model, so I do have SOME credibility (I've also discretely walked out of 3 other Cirque shows - yawn)...
I have seen "beLIEve" twice so far --I have SEVERAL comments, but will either post them onto my space (URL below) or here (in a few days, when I am not so swamped) .... but they're pretty detailed, so I don't want to incur the wrath of Admins for my lengthy spiel...
However, the first thing that came to my mind was WHAT SHOW WAS THAT LAS VEGAS REVIEWER WATCHING (who commented so negatively about this show) - because it was NOT the show I saw.... I am "loyal" but my feet still touch the ground (barely)....
I will say the costuming is SUPERB, although I thought the wedding dress was a tad boring - Crimson took my breath away - I want her hair, her clothes and her walk (whoops, I already have her walk) .....
For those panning Criss' dancing segments or his 'singing' the MF theme - my comment: BITE ME! I personally felt they were NOT LONG ENOUGH.....
